Fresh Download is a specialized utility to manage downloads and includes tools to accelerate, resume, schedule, and organize downloads. Fresh Download is super easy and intuitive to use, featuring a simple interface that does make organizing downloads a virtual cinch.

Fresh Download includes a pause and resume feature which seamlessly picks up where a download left off or as is more likely the case was cut off. You can also pause the download yourself for whatever reason, to return and pick right up later. Fresh Download monitors your web activity and pops up whenever you click on a link that initiates a download. It also features a smooth drag and drop function and clipboard monitoring,

One of the cooler features Fresh Download offers is the scheduling feature, which lets you set a specific time for a download to begin or resume. Especially useful if you have a whole slew of downloads you want to complete and need to spread them out during low traffic periods. Downloading should be faster with Fresh Download as it uses four simultaneous connections to download a single file. This can increase download speed by up to 400% by some reports. It also includes antivirus support and scans incoming files with your antivirus software.

Fresh Download will also decompress zip files automatically if you want it to. However, Fresh Download is not fast at extracting, so you may choose to use another program for this specific purpose. If you are not worried about the time you might appreciate the ease of automatic decompression.
